"I hired Empower Painting to paint the exterior of my home.  I got three estimates;  all seemed professional and experienced.  Empower Painting wrote the most detailed bid and had the lowest price.  Jose, the owner, visits the site, asks a lot of questions and makes a lot of suggestions, so his bid is very specific.  Jose can do some carpentry repairs, and his workmen did a very good prep job, securing loose siding, scraping where needed and then priming scraped areas, cutting out bad caulking and recaulking with high quality material.  They use a "spray and back-roll or back-brush" painting method, which seems to have worked well.  They suggested a few excellent paint companies;  we used Rodda and upgraded to Rodda Ultimate II paint for a small extra charge.  The Empower Painting crew was led by Israel, a friendly and professional guy, easy to work with, and he didn't forget any details.  The crew worked very long hours to take advantage of good weather.  Billing was exactly as the bid specified.  Jose visited the job site most days and was easy to contact.  I recommend Empower Painting with no reservations." "Wow, what a great company.......Jose and his team refinished our wood front door and sidelights. The door and hardware look better now than when we bought the house new.  Our job was so small most painters wouldn't even come out and give us a bid, but Jose did.  Being a small job I thought they might not do a great job, but they did a fantastic job.  They worked hard the whole time they were here (4 days off and on), cleaned up well each night, were very professional and I could tell they not only took pride in their work but they liked doing it.  Since they had to take the door off all day the first day they were in an out of our house and garage but they were so respectful and courteous. I loved the technique they used of attaching plastic to the gutters so they could work when it rained, but they stayed dry and keep the water off of the door.  I guess they can paint houses all year long using that technique.  I have recommended them to our neighbors and when we need our house painted I will be calling again." "We were extremely happy with the work that Jose and his team performed just last week (6/20/2016 to 6/24/2016). Other companies showed up to bid, walked around the house and gave their estimate. Jose asked me to walk through the job with him. He asked questions, explained the work they would do, and he offered a number of suggestions for improvements that I wouldn't have thought of. We've got a 3400 Square foot house and a 30x40 shop. Jose and team not only completed the pressure washing and painting within one week, he also incorporated adding some wood trim to the shop so that it would match our house and he replaced 3 bad window trim boards. The job also included refinishing our front door, staining our front patio and sanding and refinishing a pine ceiling over our front and back patios. The team (5 or more people) worked 8am to 7pm daily. The cleanup after the job was excellent, other than seeing the perfectly painted and trimmed house you can't even tell they were there. All of the patio furniture and other items were put back exactly as they were. I couldn't recommend Jose and his team from Empower Painting more highly." Dave  Long, June 2016

"We recently had our home painted by Empower Painting LLC and couldn't be happier with the results. Jose, the owner and his crew started the preparation by power washing the house and then began preparing after waiting a day for the house to dry. They caulked all doors, windows and seams, counter sunk all protruding nails, filled the holes with a product like bond and then sanding them to smooth. They power screwed loose boards and pounded in all nails, sprayed rust-proofing primer to cover nail heads and other areas of rust, covered all glass surfaces with plastic film, masked off the foundation and other small areas that were not to be painted, covered all shrubs, paving stones along with taking off the light fixtures. The siding on the house was lightly sanded either by hand or palm sander to make them smooth. They sprayed 2 coats of heavy body latex paint, painted accent color and trim, along with our three doors, our patio floor and front foundation. Every color we used, five in all had two coats even the exposed gas meter had a camouflage paint mixture to blend in with our used brick. The crews of three did an outstanding job, were prompt, professional, friendly, and very tidy, cleaned up and hauled away any trash every night too. They took their job very serious and were always ready to answer any questions we might have as they worked. Jose even helped us when we were undecided about a color choice, replaced a board on our patio and repaired a side door on our garage, going the extra mile to pick up the materials on his own. "Jose and his professional crew painted our home here in Oregon City last week. We have cedar siding and it had been neglected for several years. We had never caulked around our windows and doors and several cracks in the cedar siding were prominent. Jose and his guys filled all the cracks, sealed around our doors and windows and sanded our fascia boards, then filled the holes. They also painted our two 10X12 storage sheds as well as our patio canopy framing, which had to be brush painted by hand. These guys worked their hearts out. They did about 1 & 1/2 days preparation and another day to paint. They sprayed the house, then rolled a 2nd coat on, which really forced it into the wood siding. They even painted our concrete foundation with special paint. They did an excellent job cleaning up and they used numerous tarps to catch any paint or chips. We intend to call Jose again later this year to estimate the interior painting of our home. They did such a fantastic job on the exterior, we know they'd do a good job on the inside, too. We've had several favorable comments from neighbors telling us how beautiful our home now looks. That tends to make it all worthwhile. We hired Empower Painting LLC owned by my dear friend and battle buddy, Annabel-Jose Ortega Radillo and her husband, to restore our living room and dining room to their 1908 charm. They replaced all of the old molding (crown molding as baseboards?!?!) and installed picture molding, tall baseboards, door and window trim and a room divider. They also painted the walls, ceiling and trim. I'm sharing before and after pictures for their business to use and because I finally have a house that feels like mine now! "We had an extension put on my deck and it was not done well. Jose came over, fixed all the flaws, stained, built stair rails and really made our disappointing deck into something we loved!!! Jose also painted my son's room for him before he started high school, my son thought it would be cool to have his room in his high school colors.
